RE: Episode 148
Hey guys, just got done listening to the latest episode shortly after Toonami finished and have got to say that I wholeheartedly agree with both Matty and Shades about the whole "Daniel Bryan effect" after the Kevin Steen promo Matty played which I thought was a very excellent heel turn in my opinion.
Scott Hall was a no show again!? Figures! He was probably getting his ass drunk somewhere in an undisclosed location as always. John Cena promo on RAW after Johnny Ace-hole got his ass fired by Mr. Mcmahon was absolute comedic gold, it had me laughing my ass off!
Time for "Winners and Losers" as always!
Losers:
That KKK member that hacked Booker T and his wife's twitter accounts and posted his bullshit as well as personal information! You asslicking, cocksucking, crotch grabbing, douchebag! I hope that Vince Mcmahon and his lawyers find out where you live and take you to court!
Scott Hall for managing to keep popping up in "What The Wrestling Fuck" every other week!
WWE for continuing to make Randy Orton into becoming a face when he is a lot better being a heel!
Micheal Cole just because he's Michael 'fucking' Cole
And Justin TV for being fucking copyright nazis and not having absolutely any idea what "Fair Use" is and banning LC's account! Everybody that is thinking about moving to Justin TV from Livestream, just don't! As Shades has previously said on the previous episode of "Reviewtopia Talks" Livestream is the lesser of 2 evils and are a lot less strict on copyright than those damn copyright nazis at Justin TV are!
The entire city of New York for partaking in the "Daniel Bryan effect" and proving Doc Pepper's point!
Winners:
John Cena for that absolutely hilarious promo on RAW
EBay for having my stash of ranger keys from Gokaiger when everyone else in the "Importing toku merchandise department" is sold out!
Hairball, for now letting us the rest of us know the location of TNA's corporate building! Thank God he didn't go anywhere near that very huge amount of utter stupidity.
Mr. McMahon for FINALLY firing Johnny Ace-hole
And Williams Street for the awesome new Toonami promo last night acknowledging that Toonami is only going to get better if we keep watching! Yes, they know that a lot of us don't like Filler: The anime - the series a.k.a. Bleach, but we are going to have to deal with it for now since Bleach seems to be very high in the ratings and will be showing new episodes until episode 265, as well as the reruns of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd gig and Cowboy Bebop until they can get the funding for much better shows.
And by the way, I managed to hijack the Absolution shortly after Toonami finished for everyone on the East Coast. Lets hope that the crew of the Bebop doesn't come looking for me! Later!

RE: Episode 148
Anywho, this week's top five will be on the best rivalries. The ones that kept us wanting more. The ones that sold the show. Heres my favorites. Hopefully they will be some of yours too.
Honorable Mention: Danielson/McGuiness. This rivalry is still talked about in ROH to this very day, and it would be pretty high up had I actually seen any of it. DVD's of it are easy to come by, so I may give them a watch.
5. Kurt Angle/Brock Lesnar. Both are accomplished amateur wrestlers with accolades no other WWE superstar could claim (except for Ken Shamrock being UFC champ, but thats another show). Their rivalry ruled 2003 and main evented Wrestlemania 19. Their last bout was in Japan, and with Angle in TNA its doubtful another match will happen, but there were some gems in there.
4. Raven/Sandman/Dreamer. Each of these three were in a rivalry with one another and each, in my mind, are equally valuable parts of ECW's history. From Dreamer's caning to Raven brainwashing Sandman's son, there were moments to be had and lots of blood to be spilt.
3. Randy Savage/Hulk Hogan. They seemed equals in terms of charisma and power, and feuded both on screen and off over who was best. The rivalry continued even after Savage retired, as evidence shows in his rap song "Be a Man". To the fans, the Mega Powers exploding was the best thing that could have happened.
2. Rey Mysterio/Psychosis. This was the rivalry that spanned different organizations in different countries. Many times the two cruiserweights had fought, and each got numerous wins over the other. It was the rivalry that inspired the cruiserweight division and paved the way for high flyers everywhere.
1. Steve Austin/Vince McMahon. "The system can kiss my ass". Thats the line that kicked off the Attitude Era and the mayhem of the late 90's. What makes this rivalry number one for me is that this rivalry saved the company by helping turn the tides of the Monday Night Wars.
Before I go, heres an artist's description of the rivalry between Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair. Artistic liberties may have been taken.

RE: Episode 148
The Great American Bash: Del Rio is a dick, Khali vs Cesaro...Well, Layla got the pin so it sort of balances it out; Cesaro lost but not by getting pinned, so technically they'll count him as still 'undefeated'...hilarious BBQ segments, just hope it had JR's BBQ sauce. After all, IT'S SLOBBERKNOCKER GOOD! And next week, Ryder as General Manager? WOO WOO WOO! YOU KNOW IT! Now put himself in the WHC MITB and all will be right with the world.
Overall: SD! Great American Bash gets a solid 4 from yours truly
Questions
1: With Angelina Love now gone from TNA do you think she should sign with WWE?
2: What do you think Ryder should do on his night as GM? I say make Eve wrestle all the divas at once and put himself in the WHC MITB match!
Winners: The Great American Bash and Ryder as SD! GM next week!
Losers: Me for having to miss Raw (then again, I DID get to see the Avengers movie again so that's a plus

RE: Episode 148
-Raw : Was meh for me, it was overtaken by tag team matches which is, after all, Teddy Long's specialty : Arrive, Tag Team, Leave.
As for the ending, I though AJ would go ECW on the table but there's something bothering me, next on SD.
-SD Live : Better than Raw and here's my comment about AJ: you put Punk and Bryan through the table, don't know if you enjoyed or felt sad and to show your forgiveness, you make out with both of them ? I hate to say this to you April Mendes but....you felt like a double whore. I smell a screwjob with the Raw MITB Winner.
-Since Tyson Kidd is expecting a big push (glad for him) what would you expect from him ? A shot at the IC or US title ?
Winners :
-Ryder for not only winning the 20 man battle royal and becoming the GM for SD next week, but to get his little revenge on Eve. Joe must be praised
-Tyson Kidd for not only being qualified for the SD MITB match and for beating Tensai in less than a minute.
-DDP for appearing on Raw. Too bad we couldn't hear his WCW theme.
-AJ : she would be the reason of the title changing hands, if not by Bryan, with the MITB winner.
Losers :
-Tensai losing in a minute. I also feel bad for Sakamoto who's forced to follow him even after beating the lights out of him.
-AJ...what's on your mind, you're confusing me. You wanna screw us all or what ? Well, she did on Bryan and Punk, if you know what I mean...
-Cole. Seriously you think that AJ wanna go out with a sexist, ignorant bootlicker of a man like you? I though who had a crush with the Miz and Lauranaitis ?
-Doink the Clown...thanks for coming but you've being wasted
-For the KKK member who hacked Booker's Twitter account, I hope you got what you deserve in real life : being arrested or, in my geek mod, being packaged piledrived though a flaming table with chairs filled with barb-wires. KKK, we're coming for you wig....i mean...wicropoops.
That's is for today and see you for the 150th episode...50 more until the 200th

RE: Episode 148
Oh Hello out there in the Wrestlecast Universe the certified black sheep has returned to grant you his presence. Now let us get down to the brass tax with WWE and TNA (sorry ROH fans haven't kept up with it other than a few things.)
WWE Notes
So AJ is going to be the next Sable and Miss Elizabeth so what better way to put her in the middle of the WWE Championship match which is a good thing as if either man wins there will be money made.
The Big Show and Ryback are figurative wrecking balls destroying everything in their path which for Ryback is a good thing for Big Show not so much
Sheamus and Del Rio=Sheamus Wins nuff said
Ziggler is the next big rising star and will win the WHC MITB
The PTPS are a good thing for the tag team division and AW can only help them get better
TNA Notes
Austin Aries appears to be TNA's answer to CM Punk which could only help TNA fight off the WWE from killing them
The Daniels/AJ storyline is absolutely bizarre as it reminds of one of the horribly written Jerry Springer Episode
Bobby Roode needs to change it up because he's getting stale as his promos are repatitive
James Storm will be the next TNA WHC
The X Division Championship will be the rising star title of TNA
the TV Championship needs to be retired
Thanks to all that listen to me ramble hope you enjoyed it

RE: Episode 148
Raw was better than it's been in a long time, I just hope things stay this course. They teased the AJ thing really well. You may have had an idea what she was going to do, but it still felt like it came out of nowhere when the payoff came. DDP's return after the Doink match was awesome, I started out so ticked off but the second I heard "BANG YO IT'S ME-" (Matty knows the rest), I started marking out. Man it was great to see him again.
AJ is totally stealing the show. I never thought I would ever see it, a Diva of this generation actually becoming something that we'd care about. Kharma's the only other possible contender and I've always seen her more as a force of nature than a singular diva. Maybe that's just me though. I don't know who's behind all this stuff, but they need to keep it up, the divas really haven't been this interesting in YEARS! Now if only we can make sure the other ones get just as crazy...
Winners:
DDP- I have no idea if he has one last match in him, but seeing him give Slater the Diamond Cutter will keep me satisfied. And that's not a bad thing, that's A GOOD THING! (creepy smile) We all know one of us had to do it.
AJ- Her match against vickie was great, and her promo against Daniel prior to it was pretty clever. She seems to take our perception of her and turn them on their head. Just when we think we know what's coming next, AJ swerves us like Vince Russo dreams he could.
Jericho and Bryan: I really want to see more of these two playing off one another. The "YES AGAIN" moment was priceless, and seeing Jericho dust off his sense of humor with a timeless "Would you please SHUT THE HELL UP!?" was icing on the cake.
NXT- You ask me, this is what needs to occupy that additional hour of Raw we're staring down.
Kenny King- Imagine my shock when the "Pretty boy Pitbull" shows up on TNA to get into their X-division tournament. Best of luck to you Kenny, that company neeeds all the talent it can get, maybe someday they'll figure out what to do with it.
Losers:
Being sick- I'm only now getting over something that's put me out of comission for almost two weeks! It's been a friggin' nightmare!
WWE's marketing for NXT- why go through all the trouble of revitalizing the brand and then not promoting it or letting stateside (and Canadian? I'm not sure) fans actually see it!? What's the point otherwise?
Potentially missing MNR next week- Going out of town and I have no idea if I'll be able to see Raw or get a wi-fi signal that can support the stream. Here's hoping, I'd hate to miss out.
Well that does it for me, later people, Sayonara!
