Well Well, Wrestlemania is upon us once more. As is traditional, I must now put my WM predictions for all to see (and probably laugh at when I get nearly all of them wrong). I'm going to go with this in the order that I think the matches SHOULD happen, along with my notes on who SHOULD win along with who WILL win. (note: I'm also adding my thoughts on these matches, but if you're pressed for time, you can skip over those and just go with the predictions alone). Here we go:

Dark Match: Probably a tag title match: Winner, Champions, because is there any OTHER tag team right now.

Match 1: Kane vs. Randy Orton
Should win: Kane
Will win: Orton
Honestly if it wasn't for Orton, I would say this had a good chance of becoming this years Dark Match. The build hasn't been that great, but Orton's good enough in the ring that this will make a good warm up match for the crowd. Storyline-wise, this would work best if Kane gets the victory, since Orton's been getting the better of him most of the time, plus I think Kane needs the win to help really keep his momentum going. However we all know Randy ain't gonna let that happen. Oh well.

Match 2: Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show.
Should win: Cody
Will win: Big Show
I'm sorry, but some streaks should never end, and Show's anti-streak is one of them. Besides, Cody has been gold for the last Year really, so he deserves this win. Personally I'm okay with this if it's for the purpose of getting the IC Title off Cody so he can move up the card to challenge for the World Title though.

Match 3: Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
Should win: The American Dragon Bryan Danielson
Will win: Sheamus
I'm sorry but this is one were the build up to the match was somewhat botched. This isn't the fault of either Bryan or Sheamus though, as they've both done their roles as good as you could want. Simply put, the writers really didn't think up any real story to tell with this one other then Sheamus wants title/Bryan doesn't want to give it up. Even with that though this could be a sleeper match of the night given how good both of these guys are in the ring. Especially if on Bryan's entrance you suddenly hear the Final Countdown playing. Won't happen, but one can still dream.

Match 4: Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny
Should win: Team pimpin
Will win: Team laryngitis
After the last match we should need a cool-down match and this one will do nicely. I also expect that either this or the Diva's match should vie for quickest match of the night. Honestly I love Teddy, but WWE seems to love Heel GM's more, so I don't see him winning this. Still if it does happen, the the person pinned SHOULD be Otunga, and Ryder should get the pin. Won't happen, but one can still dream.

Match 5: Undertaker vs. HHH (Hell in a Cell)
Should win: Undertaker
Will win: No one (honestly if HHH wins, everyone loses, even HHH)
Like I said, some streaks should never end, and Undertaker's is one of them. I do believe this should be his last WM, with him leaving after hitting 20-0, but it just seems like this going to be the end. Mind you, it's possible WWE is just getting really good at fooling me with this, and I'd be thrilled if that was true, but I don't think so. Honestly though, if they were going to break the streak, why HHH? He doesn't need it, and he'll be leaving active wrestling soon himself anyway. If someone is gonna break it, they should get someone who can use for a good long while (thoughts on that: Bryan or Cody would be best).

Match 6: Diva's match
Should win: Don't care, toilet break
will win: the celebrity I guess
Once again, cool down match, and a good time for a toilet break before the big final matches.

Match 7: CM Punk vs. Jericho
Should win: Punk (KNEEL!!!)
Will win: The fans
Welcome to my pick for match of the night and The newest version of Randy Savage/Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. Build has been perfect, and you know both of these will kill themselves to give us a 5 star match. I see Punk walking away with the title, but no matter what, we all win when this match happen.

Match 8: John Cena vs. Dwayne Johnson
Should win: The Rock
Will win: Dwayne's bank account
This match was built as Cena/Rock, two icons finally meeting in the ring for the first time ever. Sadly The Rock never showed up. Instead we got some actor named Dwayne Johnson to fill in for him. It's probably too late now, but hopefully the Rock will finally make it to Wrestlemania at least, if only only because Rock beating Cena would probably be the best thing for Cena's character right now. However since he probably won't show, the best thing would be for Cena to get his win, and then we can all try to forget this ever happened.

Well that's my predictions, let's see how I did.

Wrestlemania predictions? I dont have any since I'll still be in Ft. Lauderdale following Showdown in the Sun and wont be able to watch it until later. I'd like to say Richards retains, but with so much storyline going in to Steen it makes me wonder what'll happen.

Some random thoughts:

While Wrestlemania 18 was my first Wrestlemania, my first PPV was Starcade '98 (the one with the cattle prod) on a scrambler box. I actually really got into wrestling after watching Benoit and Jericho beat Stone Cold and Triple H for the tag belts and marked out hard as a kid for *gasp* The InVasion. Yes, InVasion, a strange time where Kurt Angle was top face, Austin was top heel, DDP was a stalker, and Triple H was too injured to get sucked into that madness.

A lot has been brought up about Big Show's "Anti-Streak" at Wrestlemania, but Cody and the rest of the WWE forgets that Show has won the last two/his first two in a row. I'd actually be nervous that his bad luck had finally ended.

It was awesome that Shane Douglas did what he did. Dear lord, could you imagine if him and Laurenitis had a Dynamic Dudes reunion? Actually, a better idea would be a Dynamic Dudes feud. Think about it.

With so many different Kamen Riders, where does one start...wait, wrong podcast!

How many Wrestlemanias does Donald Trump have to host/promote to get into the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame? Seriously, he should have got in right after selling the shit out of Wrestlemania 23 and introducing (for better or worse) the celebrity host gimmick of Raw for 2009.

Raw, Raw, Raw...WHAT THE F**K IS WRONG WITH YOU!!? Go home show my ass!

Wrestlemania predictions:
Jericho v Punk- They way they've built this up in the last few weeks, I'm siding with our Saviour CM Punk. Not only does he have more to lose in this fight, he's fighting with the sole intent of hurting Jericho. Now that is a double edge sword, since he may be fighting mad instead of smart. But if he's fighting mad like he was against Christian, Jericho is going to take the beating of a lifetime, and Jericho can't take a whole lot of punishment.

Big show v Rhodes- I can't really pick a winner here. Like before Show's gonna be fightng mad and Cody's only real chance at a finisher on Show is the Beautiful Disaster kick, since getting show down long enough for the Cross rhodes is much harder. I can see Cody pulling a swerve on Show to keep his title, hand cuffs, other foreign objects that sort of thing. I can't really call it.

Bryan vs Sheamus- I'm hoping Bryan keeps the title, but I see Sheamus pulling it out here. Unless Bryan uses some of the strikes and subs he used on the indies I think Sheamus has his moveset scouted given all the time this has gone on.

Kane v Orton- I don't care. I just do not care. Screw it, Michael Voorhees wins.

Team Pimp vs Team Suckup- I am praying to every god, goddess, ancient spirit, insert thing here that I know of; and that's a big freakin' number by the way, that Teddy's team wins. But at teh same time Mesagog's boy toys have had their numbers for the last few weeks. If Ace wins, we all lose.

Undertaker v HHH- Can't call it. If this is Taker's last match he should go down, but given Taker's seniority and tenure with the company he may be the one guy who escapes this trend despite it being what a lot of people want. I think Shawn will call it down the middle, with him being retired he has less of a stake in things once the match is over, so any backlash of him screwing either of them wouldn't really last.

Divas match- As little as I care about Jason Kruger v the garden snake, I care even less about this. Only one woman in this match can actually "Wrestle" the other is in an "I'm a two faced user" storyline and the other is a useless bimbo no one cares about. Oh and that lady from Extra is involved for some reason too. Someone give me a reason to give a rat's ass about this, I dare ya!

Cena v Dwayne- I really don't have a dog in this fight. I don't like either guy in this match but I'm pulling for Cena just because Dwayne's been bloody insufferable since this stupidity began a year ago. Never has an angle been so haphazardly built up, and I hope someone in the writing staff figures that out! Originally I figured someone would interfere in the match and cost Cena the win, but since all the people who might pull that are now in matches of their own that seems less likely. Unless Del Rio makes a sudden emergence and screws over Cena, I see Cena coming out on top. Like he said; he has a bigger stake in things and the man formerly known as The Rock doesn't lose or gain anything by winning or losing.

Decaff Otunga: He has left me as Joe left the Critic; staring at a screen...bored out of my mind, bored out of my mind. *Quakes with rage* OTUNGAAAAAAAAAA AA!!!! OTUNGAAAAAAAAAA AA!!! OTUNGAAAAAAAAAA AA!!!
The Divas as a whole: We have an expert's opinion from MissNayong, and I dare anyone to disagree. These "matches" are an insult to real women athletes who work their asses off to be taken seriously in a male dominated sport, and I do mean SPORT! Kharma, Beth, Nattie; you're the only hope this division has, and we don't see enough of you for it to make a difference.

Cody Rhodes vs Big Show - Intercontinenta l Title:

This is my prediction for the opening match because....what else....Honestly despite it being against Big Show, The Intercontinenta l title isnt serving Cody Rhodes anymore. The man is ready for prime time, he's ready for the World title scene and doing so he has to drop that amazing, gorgeous, stunning, beautiful, i forgot what I was talking about.....oh right! He has to drop the IC title to take the next step in his carrer. As for BigShow.....well I guess this will make him a grand slam champion. Question, does the US title qualify as a grand slam championship title?


Kane vs Randy Orton

This is my piss break match, because there is NOTHING this match could do outside of being an Inferno Match inside of a cage that could make me interested in seeing these two wrestle eachother, the reasoning behind this match is absolute terrible and quite frankly the only reason this match exists is because theres nothing else for them to do


Team Teddy vs Team Johnny:

Is it just me or is this the match WWE is seriously pimping the most lately and I gotta tell you, it's working. I'm generally excited for ths match and when it come down to who wins I feel that both The GM title AND Johns EVPofTR are gonna be involved in the outcome. If Teddy wins Johns gonna come out tomorrow and say *coughs* "I'm still the (I'm NOT saying that title) so I still have control over WWE" or if Johnny wins, The Board of Directors makes Teddy the....you know what. You see all Teddy has is the GM position, if that goes what does he have left, maybe he could manage Mark Henry again and bring back "Thuggin & Buggin"


Dumb Bitch & Dancing Bitch vs Slutty Bitch & Beth Pheonix (aka Bitch that can actually wrestle)

In case you didnt hear the Dancing Bitch broke her ribs while dancing so here's my prediction, Dancing Bitch just accompanys Dumb Bitch and her new Tag Team partner

THE BITCH

Thats right, I predict Kharma returning to replace Dancing Bitch in this match to FINALLY set up the Kharma/Beth rivalry and if Natyla has eased up on the cheese throw her in teh mix as well. Now of course we all know the elephant in the room which hinders my speculation but my guess is if they can't get Kharma they simply go with Natyla. Ifd they go with Alicia Fox though.....no court could ever convict me.....


Bryan vs Sheamus

This match, despite having the Rumble winner will obviously NOT be the main event and rightly so, i DON'T want a repeat of X8, I don't care who is the training buddy of who, NOTHINGS going after Rock vs Cena. Now in all honestly I predict Bryan to win here tonight. Sheamus with the belt is just boring and I'd like to see more Heel Champ Daniel Bryan.


Punk vs Jericho

AKA The real main event, I see this match getting the biggets pop of the night as these two tear the roof down. This match is gonna be so damn epic I won't even care who wins. The only thing that would make it more epic is if Living Colour play Punk to the ring


Undertaker vs Triple H - Hell in a Cell

I can just hear it now "Ladies and Gentlemen on account of both men dying, this match is a DRAW!" These guys are gonna to give it them all, anticipate bleeding in this match. As for the winner, i predict it ending with HBK faking a SweetChin to Taker and taking out HHH instead.


Rock vs Cena

Cena, it has to be Cena. there is no point for Rock winning this match. I remind everyone of Hogan/Orton from Summerslam 2005. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR HOGAN to win that match. Orton wa sthe guy that wa sgonna be there in a month, not Hogan and teh same applies to Rock, hes gonna be long gone in a month and Cenas gonna be here every week kicking ass.

Greetings once again WC. The go home show for Raw, was heavily promoting Cena vs the guy from doom....seriously Dwayne, what the Bloody Blue Hell happen to you. you use to kick ass with a 2X4 while "Walking Tall". Now your Disney's Kow Pow Bitch. I understand that you want to be Financially secure and not end up in a wheel chair. but only coming back just to promote a crappy movie that's just going to be sent straight to DVD (like most of WWE Flims). Honestly i hope Dwayne & Cena have a desent match. but i just don't give a damn.

Thank you The Undertaker Mark Calaway for 20 plus years of entertainment. from watching you debut at the 1990 Servivor Series to the time you throw Mick off that Cell, to burying Paul Bearer in Oatmeal, to winning the World Title at WM 23. now pardon me, i'm going to watch Taker's Deadliest Matches on my PS3.

Show vs. Rhodes=Show as I cant see anyone Showing Up more than the Biggest Show
Johnny vs. Teddy-Team Johnny whose been bitching about it for weeks and builds a better story than Teddy winning
End of Era HTC=Taker with some screwjob finish from Michaels who will still be better than Trips after Mania.
Fella vs. Vegan=Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes Sheamus has won the World Heavyweight Championship and by f'n god he deserves it as both he and Bryan were curtain jerkers and the sheepaverse has yet to see it.
Best in the World at what he does vs. Best in the World=Y2J would be a solid choice but I just dont see it as this was the same guy who put over the Great White over himself and I see him doing the same for Punk
Once in a Lifetime=For Me this is a toss up match as I can't see WWE jobbing Cena out to Dwayne but I also cant see them forcing Dwayne to be around so long that he jobs to Cena. I'm Sorry Reviewtopians I'm going with Team Bring It......put your pitchforks and other various weapons down and let me explain myself as you see Cena is in a no lose situation here he could lose this match and the next night on RAW could go on with his career while Dwayne could win and go back to hollywood with his sanity knowing he beat Austin, Hogan and Cena @ Mania.

I'm gonna save most of my comments for after sports entertainment mania so here are my winners and losers.

Winners: Chikara, An awesome rivalry is forming between Kevin Steen and Eddie Kingston. It should culminate in an epic match at some point in April.
Matt Bloom, aka A-Train, aka Albert, aka Giant Bernard, for getting a job in the WWE.

Losers: TNA, for making Hulk Hogan general manager.
WWE, for continually breaking Kayfabe. It's happening so gradually it's hard to notice. Before it wasn't really a problem as stuff you wanted to stay secret could be kept secret. However with the internet around you can't be too careful because word spreads fast. Daniel Bryan dating one of the Bellas is the latest example. By doing so he is sacrificing the legitimacy of his storyline relationship. WWE performers need to keep their personal lives well away from the public eye as kayfabe is a sacred thing. Seriously, am I the only on who scream "STOP BREAKING KAYFABE! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!" Whenever Cena makes a sarcastic comment about Rock's wrist notes, or when Dolph Ziggler has Heel written on his ring gear. Even when CM Punk does it it's still iritating. They've all got to stop, it's becoming a serious problem. This is the problem Jim Cornette has with the WWE product at the moment an I completely agree. RANT OVER!

Okay, WM28 prediction time!

Divas Tag Team match: Kelly, the WWE replacement for Torrie Wilson, Kelly and that Extra women vs. the Glamazon and the Hoeski on a stick.: First surprise of the nite as Kharma replaces Kelly Kelly and kills somebody! Winner Team Extra

Orton vs. Kane: I see this as a mildly entertaining match with Orton getting the win and the feud continuing to future PPV. Winner Orton

IC Match: Cody "Dashing" Rhodes vs. the Big Show: This will be a decent match between two who can carry their weight. Show get the win and the title as this will start Cody slow face turn that will be complete by July: Winner and new IC Champ Big Show

Team Pimp vs. Team On A Stick!: Second surprise of the nite as Rey Mysterio will replace someone on Team Teddy who get injured before the match, my bet is Booker or Zack, and help prove the Teddy Pimp hand is strong as they put everyone on Team Ace on the HHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OTTTTTTTTTTRRRR RRRRRRRRIIIIIII IIIIIAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAANNNNNNN NNNNNNN!!!!!!!! !!!!!

End of a Era Hell in the Cell: Taker vs. HHH with HBK as Special Ref! This will be a good match, but I'm calling Taker to win so the WWE can put Taker Streak up against Cena at next year Wrestlemania. We all know the WWE wants to do it.: Winner Taker

WHC Match: Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryant: This is the Sleeper of the nite and I think it will be a better wrestling match then Punk vs. Jericho and I predict that match will be a 5 star match. Bryant will retain with a tap out!: Winner Us and Bryant!

WWE Championship Match: C.M. Punk vs. Chris Jericho: Come on, we all know this will be a 5 star match, can't say more then what everyone else has said. Punk wins! Winner Us and Punk!

Once in a Lifetime: John Cena vs. Dwayne Johnson: Third surprise of the night. This will be a very good match, so long as they give it the proper amount of time. It may not be the best wrestling match of the night, but it will be a pretty damn good one! Cena wins and solidify his future spot in the WWE Hall of Fame which lets face it, is what this match is all about!: Winner John Cena.
