thoughts about EVO

-SCV had a pretty good top 8 especially if like seeing a character ppl consider low tier winning it all. -SFxT had a funny top 8 bc Team Korea basically rolled over everyone and even perfected mike ross/combofiend's team like twice. -KOF top 8 was not rigged. If you watched Mexico vs Korea(Cafe ID) on friday night which was streamed from Team Spooky's Arturo Sanchez's channel, you would have saw that Cafe ID rolled over everyone except Bala in those matches. Mexico won 20-9 simply due to Bala because if he wasnt on the team, Cafe ID would have rolled through everyone else like VVV Romance, AS Reynald, IGL Answer. That exhibition gave good indication that they it was possible for South Korean players to be a threat which in the end happened. Also during the Top 64/32/16. Cafe ID were the ones who eliminated most of the great international players, especially from Japan. They also stream from Twitch and had ran a tourney with Poongko in it and destroyed him. Besides that, Cafe ID showed that even though you may not have great competition around you to help you level up, you can still become great. -Even though I don't like F.Champ that much, he deserved to win out of everyone else. He lives and breathes that game. Every time I watch the FGTV stream and he is on, he is always playing Marvel. -VF5 had some really good matches. By the way the guy who was 3rd place, Itazan, he learned how to play Shun due to Fuudo. Fuudo is basically his teacher. Itazan is also a SF4 players and usually goes by the name "Itabashi Zangief" and probably has the best Zangief in Japan. -Infiltration has been around for while. He placed 3rd in SF4 back in EVO 2010. The thing about his gameplay from Top 8 is that you cant simply just scout him because he plays at least 4 different characters. He won EVO using Akuma which was his B character prior to him winning Dream Hack a few weeks ago. The things he was doing with Akuma was unlike anyone had seen. He made Akuma look like he was as broken as Akuma from HDR or ST. He also plays a Gouken which is probably the best in world. Go and watch him from Season's Beatings from a few months ago on Team Spooky's channel and you will see him blow up everyone, including Ricky Ortiz in the GF which Infiltration had to reset the bracket to win. He has a really good Hakan also and plays Ryu when he wants to. He is a phenomenal player. -Justin Wong first got knocked into losers by a great Yun player from Texas in Top 64 and then got knocked out in Top 32 by the Cammy player who was in top 8, Xiaohai who is known to be one of the greatest KOF players of all time. -Daigo wasn't the favor to win the ST tourney of Legends due to the fact he doesn't play it on a daily basis. If anything, the winner Mao had the better odds on winning (which he did win) because he has consistently played ST for the past 20 years.
