Here's the mother of all misheard lyrics:

Best... Chorus... Ever... I don't know how that works or he's admitting to being a quicksand licker, but it is the best misheard lyric I can remember hearing in a song, if not the best then it is the most memorable misheard lyric. In the music video after the first chorus he stands up and starts floating to the ceiling with more shots of random bugs. Did I mention I HATE BUGS? I really hate them, I hate seeing them in videos or creeping around in my house occasionally.

Verse Four:
"Tick tock tick tock madness comes tonight
What’s reality compared to me?
I rest on the bed and I'm sure I slowly get mad."

More misheard lyrics:
"Tick tack, tick tack, madness comes tonight
What's reality compared to me?
I'm next on the bed and I'm sure I slowly get that."

Why is he slowly getting mad while he's resting on a bed? Is he mad at the bed, about resting on the bed? Why is madness coming tonight and what does it have to do with the clock? Is the clock driving him mad? He could just shut it off if that was the case. What exactly is a Time Killer what does it have to do with Peter being like quick sand and why is he telling people to lick the quicksand from his hand?

Verse Five:
"I'm in a state of mind which makes me blind
For the fact that I'm a man
I'm here to stay forever but not today"

This has to be the one verse I actually heard the right lyrics too but I refuse to believe they are the right lyrics. What state of mind was he in that made him forget he's a man? What did he think he was, a woman?

Verse Six:
"In my heart is no place for you
And in my mind is no space for you
The exit already melted away
And now there's nothing left to say"

The only thing that sounded different was exit, I thought it was "ex's already melt away," I think he just gave up at the end of this verse considering it's the last verse and then the chorus ends the song. It was like 'oh wait what I do now? There's nothing else left to say... I'll add that as the last lyric!" Also this is the point where it starts raining in the video and he's lying on the wall as a praying mantis walks by his face. The video is weird and the song makes no sense but it is amazing at the same time. It is full of misheard lyrics, which i prefer over the actual lyrics, they make the song unintentionally funny.

That's all I have to say about Time Killer by Project Pitchfork, oh wait no it's not...

I looked up their live performance of Time Killer and I want to slap Peter. The song is not growled on the CD or in the music video so whoever decided it was a great idea for him to growl the entire song on stage is an idiot. Don't do that to a song, it completely kills it and frustrates the hell out of me. Mortiis does it with Parasite God only at some point in time there's random screaming of the chorus and there's no growling or screaming in the song or in the music video... I'll get to that band later. Sing the songs the way they were recorded, if you wanted to growl the entire song you should have recorded it that way and released that version to the world.

Despite the fact the live versions of this song suck, I still love the song itself. I just won't see Project Pitchfork in concert anytime soon, but I'm not saying they're bad, it's just Peter should go with singing that song, not growling it.
