Apple Jack sounds like Sandy Cheeks
Princess Celestia sounds like Miss Mimi from "Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps"
and Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are obviously Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup...personality wise

I'm glad you mentioned the Frankie Foster/Lauren Faust connection (and also mentioned the filthy fanart). Hell, you might say Frankie was a prototype for some of the elements which make Friendship is Magic awesome (mainly the strong female characterizatio n and hilarious facial expressions). Lauren has publicly stated her commitment to presenting female cartoon characters which are actually fun, believably flawed and entertaining, and she's doing exactly that with FiM.
